Center City Public Charter Schools, Inc. operates six public charter school campuses in the District of Columbia in addition to a multi-use Maker Space. Each campus serves approximately 225 PreK to 8th-grade students (250 students at capacity). Center City PCS would like to enter into an agreement with a landscaping company to provide exterior grounds maintenance and beautification services for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract will be for three of our schools and the Maker Space. The objective of the RFP is to determine the most qualified organization or individual to: Service the grounds of three Center City campuses and Maker Space on an interval basis. Service includes but is not limited to o Mowing the lawn and treating the grass o Treating weeds and any other unexpected vegetation o Cutting tree branches o Planting flowers and bushes o Recommending beautification projects. The contractor will oversee the hiring and vetting process for any employees and will be responsible for corrective action plans and dismissal if/when necessary Contractors should bill monthly and will be paid monthly Invoices must be sent monthly to the Associate Director, School Operations, and the Accounts Payable department via email at ap@centercitypcs.org. o Invoices should be itemized per campus. The contractor must communicate with the Associate Director of School Operations regarding any planned or unplanned scheduling conflicts Potential work hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm and Wednesdays from 8:30 am - 1:30 Center City will not provide medical or commuter benefits.
