Reference Number 0000335477 This specification describes the minimum material quality requirements for bridge and culvert railing, highway guide railing and appurtenances. Work includes materials, layout of railing and installation. The work in this section shall consist of furnishing and erecting highway railing, bridge and culvert railing, posts, anchorage, transitions, appurtenances and related work. Regardless of the standard item specification wording, no separate payment will be made for shop curved railing and maintenance and protection of traffic at mobile operations. Contractor shall upon request, review the proposed guide railing location in the field, set extents of work and provide all delineation of proposed work prior to installation. Contractor shall review field conditions with the County, which may warrant adjustment to the proposed work prior to final layout and installation.
