Period of Performance: 01/15/2024 to 02/29/2024 Construction services to replace the indoor and outdoor lighting for the National Plant Germplasm Quarantine Center (NPGQC) in Beltsville, MD. Product/Service Code: N062 Product/Service Description: INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT- LIGHTING FIXTURES AND LAMPS General Information: The lighting on the roadway and parking areas at the quarantine facility is old and requires upgrade and repair. The existing lighting is damaged in numerous places from years of rain, snow, ice, and age. Approximately 42 outdoor lighting which includes poles and wall packs will be upgraded to LED. An additional 80 4ft retro fit indoor lighting and 34 2x2 troffer led indoor lighting installed as well. This is a turnkey project with the contractor responsible for and coordinating all phases of the required work. The installer shall have a minimum of five years of experience in LED lighting. The LEDs shall be installed per manufacture's installation instruction Scope of Work: The contractor shall supply all necessary labor, equipment, parts and project materials in order to repair the existing light areas at the National Plant Germplasm Quarantine Center (NPGQC). Work will include replace the existing bulbs to LED lighting. This work shall be performed during normal business hours. Work shall be performed during week hours, after 7:00am 3:00pm Monday through Friday.
