The City of Jackson (City) is requesting proposals from qualified Service Providers to provide residential solid waste collection and transportation to a designated transfer station or landfill. Award of a contract for this project is subject to the availability of funding. Minimum qualifications are five-years of experience as a prime contractor providing solid waste collection services to a municipality or a subsection of a municipality comparable in population to the City of Jackson. All garbage collection vehicles to be used for collection must be no more than two model years old at the time the service begins.
