0256510 PURPOSE The City of Austin ("City") seeks to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor(s) that can provide two (2) rotary screw compressors including installation. The compressors furnished shall be identical motors and accessories from a single motor manufacturer for multiple units of the same equipment. The compressors will be used to operate equipment and other pneumatic instrumentation throughout the Davis Water Treatment Plant. Removal and disposal of two (2) existing 15-horsepower rotary screw compressors and associated air driers are included in this scope of work. Any services that have been omitted from this specification which are clearly necessary for conformance with rotary screw compressor, shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in this scope of work. Where there is a conflict, these specifications will govern. TERM OF CONTRACT: The term of the contract shall commence upon execution and unless otherwise specified and shall remain in effect as needed or until the full contract amount has been expended. Questions. Offerors shall submit any questions concerning this Solicitation in writing via e-mail to the Authorized Contact Persons displayed on the Solicitation Cover Sheet. The City will respond to all questions received by the Questions Due Date and Time displayed on the Solicitation Cover Sheet. The City will publish one or more Addenda displaying all timely received questions and the City's responses to each for any information not already contained in the solicitation. QUESTIONS DUE February 27, 2024, by 5:00pm Reservations. The City expressly reserves the right to the following: (i) specify approximate quantities in the Solicitation; (ii) extend the Solicitation closing date and time; (iii) add additional terms or modify existing terms in the Solicitation; (iv) reject an Offer containing exceptions, additions, qualifications or conditions not called for in the Solicitation; (v) reject an Offer received from an Offeror who is currently debarred or suspended by the City, State, or Federal Government; (vi) reject an Offer that contains fraudulent information; (vii) reject an Offer that has material omissions; (viii) reject or cancel any or all Offers; (ix) reissue a Solicitation; (x) procure any item by other means; (xi) consider and accept alternate Offers, if specified in the Solicitation, when most advantageous to the City; and/or (xii) reject an Offer if prices in the Offer are unbalanced (significantly less than cost for some items and significantly more than cost for others).
