Shock Brothers & Diamond Shine have successfully performed similar work for the Troy School District and other school districts in the Metro Detroit Area. Category Contractor Amount Flooring Demo/Replace Shock Brothers Floorcovering (Base Bid & Alt 1) $494,175.00 Floor Polishing Diamond Shine Concrete & Stone (Base Bid) $ 26,000.00 Contingency/Additional Work not in bid $ 30,000.00 TOTAL RECOMMENDED AWARD $550,175.00 Each Proposal must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the contractor and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of Troy School District. The Board of Education will not accept a Proposal that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Each Proposal must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the contractor is not an Iran Linked Business. The Board of Education will not accept a Proposal that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. Troy School District's Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Proposals, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Proposal (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion. Direct all questions regarding the USF requirements in this RFP to the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), Schools and Library Division (SLD) at (888) 203-8100 Pricing shall be provided for any single unit items such as Emergency Call Out and Trip Charges. An annual estimate of the number of these items shall be included in the pricing total. 3. Labor estimate to be used is 100 hours annually. The bidder shall provide the hourly rates for each labor type and an estimated number of hours with each type totaling 100 hours. 4. Material shall be estimated based on the size of the network and any anticipated or historical figures. This would include any cable, strand, mounting hardware and consumables required for maintenance of the network. 5. A final estimate based on all of the above items is required and will be listed in the Bid Proposal Form. This amount will be used to file as the maximum amount allowed under the e-rate filing. Actual charges will be invoiced based on the events as they occur. 6. Pricing is for a five (5) year contract term. Contract term is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029. Bidders may request that the School District clarify information contained in this RFP. All such requests must be made in writing via email to John Foster, Convergent Technology Partners, at jfoster@ctpartners.net. Requests for Clarifications and inquiries may only be made via email. The deadline for all Requests for Clarification is per the schedule of events. The aggregated answers to all Requests for Clarification will be provided in an addendum to the RFP which will be issued and posted on the Purchasing page of the District website at www.troy.k12.mi.us for all potential proposers to view.
