As of October 25, 2024, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to March of 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The design service of contract documents shall include detailed site-specific plans for construction of upgrading all existing HPS luminaire to LED and enhance the existing infrastructure as needed. The consultant shall assess, evaluate, and utilize all existing poles, high mast, foundations, manholes, and raceways in addition to existing infrastructure distribution system including, backup generator, transformers, metering, etc. The consultant shall provide a recommendation for all replacements accompanied with professional estimated cost for alternatives. All recommendations must be approved by Authority and shall be included in the base design. Consultant shall consider site conditions, avoidance of environmental features, and constructability in their design and construction documents. See attachment B2, "Scope of Services" for details. Inquiries pertaining to this multi-project RFEOI are to be directed in writing to Antwan Malek, via e-mail Malek@njta.com with a copy to gcoleman@njta.com. The subject line should read "OPS No. T4014 and T4017, EOI Inquiry". The deadline for inquiries is November 29, 2023. The Authority will respond to all written inquiries received by the deadline. Each inquiry will be stated, and a written response provided. Responses will be posted on the Authority's website under Doing Business, Current Solicitations on or before December 1, 2023. The Authority is seeking participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) as subconsultants to the Qualified Firm that is awarded a contract under this RFEOI (the "Successful Qualified Firm"). The SBE project goal is 25%. The Authority has also adopted a Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVOB) Enterprise Program (the "DVOB Program") pursuant to which the Success Qualified Firm must make a good faith effort to award at least three (3) percent of the assignment to DVOBs, all as more fully described in this RFEOI.
