The Town of Cobourg is requesting quotations from qualified companies to supply and deliver materials for the reconstruction of approximately 500 m (1,640 ft) of existing waterfront boardwalk located at the Cobourg west beach. The materials to be supplied and delivered include the following: 36,000 to 43,000 lineal feet of HDPE Structural Grade Plastic Lumber (2x6 and 2x8) 96,000 lineal feet of pressure treated lumber (2x4 and 2x6) All associated fasteners and related hardware (galvanized bolts, structural screws, framing screws, deck screws, etc.) All material will be delivered to a Town of Cobourg Public Works facility for off-site assembly of boardwalk sections by Town Staff during the winter of 2024 in preparation for subsequent on-site installation by Town Staff in the spring of 2024.
