The work for which bids are asked includes the following: The work under this Contract includes the construction of a back-up power system and controls at the City of Hurley Range View Lift Station, 1148 W Range View Drive, Hurley, Wisconsin 54534 The work is summarized as follows: A. Provide lift station back-up power system, including a new minimum 60-kW, natural gas engine generator, automatic transfer switch, power distribution junction box, and natural gas supply line plumbing, regulators, valves, exhaust piping, monitoring control panel, bollard posts and related equipment. B. Provide concrete pad for mounting generator. C. Provide lighting panel to house circuits for generator appurtenances. Reroute RTU feeder and exterior lighting circuits to new panel. Work including conduits, wire, and related equipment. D. Provide IO card(s) and programming to integrate utility power signals into City SCADA System. E. Provide all work, equipment, and materials to provide complete and operable project. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The anticipated substantial completion date is May 15, 2025 and final completion date is June 15, 2025.
