This Specification establishes the minimum requirements for this solicitation, listed and described in the body of these specifications, to be used as noted, by The School Board of Brevard County. The intent of this bid is to establish a term contract with multiple bidders to be used on an as needed basis, during which time the successful bidders shall guarantee firm pricing for the items awarded as specified in this bid. The performance of awarded bidders shall be in accordance with the terms of the specifications and with the quality standards of service set forth herein. Window and Door Contractors will be awarded in accordance with the School Board of Brevard Policies and Procurement Department purchasing manual and Quick Reference Guide for Competition Requirements & Signature Authority It is also the intent to utilize the awarded firms from this Invitation to Bid as follows: o Projects less than $5,000.00, the quote shall be time and materials and match using the awarded rates on the price sheet. In the event that there are multiple awarded scoreboard contractors, for quotes under $5,000.00, the District staff may select any of the scoreboard contractors. o Projects greater than $5,000.00 and less than $300,000.00, District staff will send a request for quote to all the awarded firms, the firms will submit a written quote to the District Staff and the District will award the project to the firm with the lowest responsive, responsible written quote.
