The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (the "District") requests Qualification Statements from experienced Engineering firms for the following services: 1. Geotechnical, Construction Materials Engineering and Testing, and Subsurface Reconnaissance Studies 2. Civil 3. Structural 4. Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Question Deadline 11/24/2023 at 11:30 AM CT Firms with specific experience in pertinent geotechnical conditions, develop geotechnical parameters and field program, laboratory testing, engineering and analysis and report, observation and testing, compute generated boring logs and any other areas related to geotechnical areas (and, public school buildings in Texas; no less than five completed projects in the last five years) are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications as requested herein. Firms with specific experience in the planning, design and construction of water, sewer and storm drainage systems, street and public parking lot pavement, subdivision platting and FEMA flood zoning mapping (no less than five completed school district projects in the last five years) are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications as requested herein. The submission for and the qualifications provided must include without exception all items, services and experiences necessary to provide any or all of these civil engineering services over the next three years. Firms with specific experience in the planning, design and construction of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in public facilities (and in particular, public school buildings in Texas; no less than five completed projects in the last five years) are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications as requested herein. The submission for and the qualifications provided must include without exception all items, services and experiences necessary to provide any or all of these engineering services over the next three years. All Qualification Statements will be reviewed and evaluated by the District and its representatives for overall completeness and adherence to submission requirements and according to the criteria contained herein. Additional information/clarifications may be requested from certain Firms during the review process. A short-list of up to three (3) Firms will likely be selected to submit detailed proposals to include estimates of fees, timetables to address current needs, and other details and information. Oral interviews with all or certain short-listed Firms may be held. Final selection will be based on a combination of qualifications, experience, assigned staff, fees, schedule, approach to the Project, conceptual ideas and chemistry with the District. The District reserves the right to undertake such investigations as it deems necessary to further evaluate the qualifications and experience of the Firms. The District reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any Statements of Qualifications and to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications if in the District's best interest to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
