DIVISION I - Water Distribution System: The scope of work in Division I includes the furnishment and installation of approximately 21,000 LF of 30-inch water main, 8,200 LF of 24-inch water main and 1,400 LF of 16-inch water main parallel to U.S. Highway 80 and Bill Futch Road. The work shall include horizontal directional drills (HDD), jack and bores, butterfly valves, air release valves, fire hydrants, and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project. DIVISION II - 1,800 gpm Well: The scope of work in Division II includes construction of a new 1,800 gallon per minute (GPM) potable water supply well in Bulloch County near Bill Futch Road. The work in Division III includes the new 1,800 GPM deep Floridan Aquifer water well, wellhead piping, well building, hydropneumatic tank, electrical components, SCADA, and all necessary material, labor, and appurtenances associated with the new water supply well as shown on the plans and in the specifications. DIVISION III - Old Cuyler Road Booster Station: The scope of work in Division III includes the furnishment and installation of a five (5)-pump booster pump station along Old Cuyler Road. The work shall include all site work, building, piping, all electrical, SCADA, concrete, and other accessories as shown on the plans necessary to complete the project. DIVISION IV - Highway 80 Municipal Compound: The scope of work in Division IV includes the furnishment and installation of a five (5)-pump booster pump station and meter station along Highway 80. The work shall include all site work, building for the booster pump station, building for the meter station, piping, all electrical, SCADA, concrete, and other accessories as shown on the plans necessary to complete the project. The Bryan County Board of Commissioners is seeking Sealed proposals for the construction of a new publicly owned water main located near Highway 80 and Highway 46 in Bryan County and Bulloch County, Georgia. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability." Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in- fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. The last day to submit questions in writing shall be Monday, December 11th, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. The Bryan County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part if Bryan County determines that cancellation and/or rejections are advantageous to the County. Proposals are legal and binding upon the Respondent when submitted. It will also be the responsibility of each Bidder to obtain any addenda issued for the project. The written documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties.
