Site work for a water / sewer project in Orinda, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be done generally consists of rehabilitating approximately 450 Linear Feet of storm drain pipes using trenchless rehabilitation methods, such as Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Liner, slip lining, PVC Liner etc. Approximately 35 linear feet of storm drain pipe will be removed and replaced with open trench, including, bedding, trench backfill and pavement restoration. Engineer's cost estimate: $380,000 +/- Number of Working Days: 30 All bidder questions/requests for interpretation shall be made in writing and delivered to the engineer listed below before 12:00 p.m. the Tuesday prior to the scheduled bid opening. Bids and bid bonds shall be made on the Bid Proposal issued. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check/s or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, made payable to the order of City of Orinda. Any bid received after the time specified in this Notice will be returned unopened. No oral, telegraphic, or facsimile bids or modifications will be accepted or considered. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
