Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Recommended award is A to Z Site Contractors for $540,615 The Project generally includes: the replacement of approximately 1,640 LF of existing 8" water main with 1,700 LF of 8" CLDIP water main on Carteret Court and Cornwallis Drive from Academy Drive to York Road, associated fittings and appurtenances, (2) 8" x 8" tapping sleeve and valves, 3 fire hydrant assemblies, (10) 8" gate valve installations, (27) 3/4" water service installations, 700 LF of 3/4" type K copper water service installation, 6,400 SY of 2" mill and overlay, refurbishment of 3 type "B" inlets, and applicable roadway and concrete restorations. Additionally, the existing 1,640 LF water main must be abandoned and filled with grout. Each bid must be accompanied by (i) all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and (ii) a bid guarantee in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid price as established in the Bid, not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($20,000.00). The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, must be drawn to the order of MLTMUA and must be delivered simultaneous with the sealed bid. MLTMUA reserves the right to (i) reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 13.2 and (ii) to waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the interest of the MLTMUA to do so.
