Project: Elevator Addition & Site Improvements at Warwick Neck Elementary School 150 Lennox Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889 Completion Time: o Expected award of Contract and delivery of a Notice to Proceed is approximately the beginning of December 2023. o Ordering of products, coordination and preparatory work is to commence within seven days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. o Construction at the site can commence on June 20, 2024. o Substantial completion date is August 21, 2024. o Final Completion of all work is to be August 28, 2024. No other visits to the project site will be conducted. The deadline for submitting questions to online is 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid must accompany each bid. Bid security shall be in the form of bid bond or a certified check payable to the City of Warwick. Beneficiary of the bond shall be the City of Warwick. A Performance Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a Labor and Material Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price with a satisfactory surety company will be required of the successful bidder. Bidder's attention is referred to the State requirements pertaining to conditions of employment to be observed, including Workmen's Compensation, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Minority Business Enterprises.
