The Project is generally described as follows: Provide and install a Pre-Finished Metal Canopy system between existing Gym bldg. and Main School building. All general construction, including site work, misc. demolition, concrete footings, paving and asphalt work as indicated in the contract documents. Final Question Submission: Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 5:00 P.m. Any questions concerning the specifications, specified work, and/or site inspection should be directed to Judson ISD Purchasing Department, via email purchasing@judsonisd.org The Board of Trustees of the Judson Independent School District reserves the right to reject any one and/or all proposals, to waive any formalities or irregularities, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the School District. The Project must be complete and ready for occupancy not later than May 30, 2024 assuming that the successful Offeror is given notice of its top ranking on or before December 15, 2023. Any proposal must provide for final completion by this date. Alternately, Offerors are asked to submit the number of calendar days required for completion of the Work, if completion of the Work shall be prior to such date. Offerors are advised that The Project is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $1,250.00 per day for each day's delay in the Substantial Completion of the Work. Proposals must remain valid for sixty (60) calendar days after the proposal due date. A proposal bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Proposal, plus all additive alternatives, if applicable
