The funding source for this project is STORMWATER UTILITY REVENUE. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Hessen Cassel and Southwin Box Culvert Replacement as follows: Replacement of an existing deteriorated 4'x6' 3 sided box culvert with approximately 37 L.F. of 4.5'x7' box culvert, including rip rap and needed restoration items. Ditch grading of the upstream ditch is also included. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by the City Utilities Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. Contractors may view the contract documents at no cost prior to becoming a Planholder. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid.
