Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Waller, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 121,097-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
STEWART BUILDERS, Inc. as Construction Manager at Risk, is soliciting proposals from subcontractors and material suppliers on behalf of Waller ISD for construction of the New Waller ISD Elementary #8. Project will be located off of Field Store Road, south of Schultz Junior High School, Waller, TX 77484. Scope of work includes but is not limited to construction of a new Elementary School, approximately 121,000 sq. ft and containing a library, dining room, food service prep area, classrooms, administration areas, gym, all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The building has a steel structure, with brick veneer and CMU exterior, CMU and/or metal stud backup walls, and a standing seam metal roofing system and walkway canopies. Site improvements may include but are not limited to concrete paving, parking, site utilities, storm water drainage. All proposals shall remain valid for a minimum period of sixty (60) days unless noted otherwise and will be evaluated based on the best value for Waller ISD and the project schedule. Approximate construction duration is January 2024 to June 2025. After receipt of proposals, Stewart Builders, Inc. will conduct its evaluation of the proposals in relation to the project. The Owner and Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any formalities and irregularities in the proposal process and to make the awards in the best interest of Waller ISD. PLEASE NOTE: There is no prebid scheduled and there is no subcontractor list available for this project.
