The City of Prosser invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the ZONE 2.5 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, HLA Project No. 23144 including the following approximate major quantities of work: Install approximately 5,810 LF 12-In water main, 480 LF 8-In water main, 14 EA 12-In butterfly valves, 10 EA 8-In gate valves, 6 EA fire hydrants, and related improvements. Contract time for this project is anticipated to begin by January 8, 2024 This contract has sixty (60) working days to complete the work. All questions should be directed to Terry D. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Prosser for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Prosser in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed, and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. A contract bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The City of Prosser reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Prosser.
