The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of approximately 200 linear feet of varying size Reinforced Concrete Pipe (18"-24"), 12" PVC storm drain along with lateral pipes, manholes, and catch basins within the north end of Citation Drive and on private property. There are 45 working days allowed to complete this project. Please note that Notice to Proceed will be granted in accordance with Special Provision 6-1 with the understanding that Notice to Proceed will coincide with mobilization. Notice to Proceed will not be granted until the procurement schedule for major equipment has been established to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. Liquidated damages shall be assessed at $1,000 per working day. The City's policy is to award bids to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
