Wellness-Area Hardscape for DC Sheriff - Phase I: Douglas County is requesting quotes from qualified companies, herein called Bidder, Contractor, Vendor, Supplier, or other pronouns used in their place, for all work and/or goods set forth in the specifications. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is dedicated to improving and maintaining a workplace environment focused on employee wellness and resiliency. The ability to take breaks and change the employees' environment to a calming and tranquil location close to a workstation is a cornerstone of any full range wellness program. As such, the DCSO wishes to explore existing exterior space for development of an exterior relaxation area. The area will be situated within the fenced perimeter of the Douglas County Law Enforcement Center (DCLEC) at 3601 N. 156th Street on the southeast corner near the employee parking lot (photo attached). In pursuit of this project, the DCSO is seeking a phased approach to development as funds become available. Phase I includes design, approval, excavation, and installation of hardscaping materials and includes preparation for future phases.
