Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Robinson, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This project consists of modernizing the existing hydraulic elevator and associated adjacent shaftway construction, including: extending existing shaft walls and providing fire assemblies at existing shaft penetrations, adding a dedicated cooling source to the elevator machine room and upgrading electrical connections for new elevator machinery and equipment. Most of the elevator components will be replaced. Existing cab, car sling and platform and car guides and rails to be retained and re-used. Bid Security Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid in the Amount of Five (5)% Percent of the Bid Amount. No Bids May Be With-drawn for a Period of 30 Days After Opening of Bids. Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Informalities and Irregularities. Bidders Must Be Properly Licensed Under the Laws Governing Their Respective Trades and Be Able to Obtain Insurance and Bonds Required for the Work. A Performance Bond, Separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a Form Acceptable to Owner Will Be Required of the Successful Bidder. Robinson Cusd #2 Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids, and to Waive Any and All Informalities in the Bidding. After Receipt of Bids and Completion of the Review Process, Robinson Cusd #2 May Award a Contract to the Bidder That, in Its Opinion, Will Provide a Combination of The Best Services and Reasonable Cost. Bids Will Be Held Good for a Period of Sixty (60) Days Subsequent to the Opening of Bids.
