Renovation of an educational facility in Live Oak, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project is generally described as follows: RE-Roofing of existing Franz Elementary School, Coronado Village Elementary School, Olympia Elementary School Gymnasium and JISD School Street Transportation Buildings. Demolition of existing roof systems and replaced with new specified, and all general construction, HVAC raising, electrical disconnect and reconnect, plumbing disconnect and reconnect and all other work as indicated in the contract documents. Question Deadline: 12/01/2023 at 5:00 PM CT, Any questions concerning the specifications, specified work, and/or roof inspection should be directed to Judson ISD Purchasing Department, via email purchasing@judsonisd.org. Work may not commence at any school site prior to March 1, 2024. The Project must be complete and ready for occupancy not later than August 4, 2024, assuming that the successful Offeror is given notice of its top ranking on or before January 29,2024. ESTIMATED PROJECT BUDGET: $1,800,000.00-$2,200,000.00. Bid Security: A proposal bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Proposal Upon Receipt of Notice of Acceptance of This Proposal, Within Thirty (30) Calendar Days of the Date of This Proposal, I (or We) Agree to Execute the Formal Contract Within Ten (10) Calendar Days Thereafter, and to Deliver an Insurance Certificate, a One Hundred Percent (100%) Statutory Payment Bond And a Surety Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price for The Faithful Performance of the Contract, as Required The wages paid for this Project are to be prevailing and standard wages for this area and comply with the minimums that must be paid to be in conformance with all applicable laws of the State of Texas. The Board of Trustees of the Judson Independent School District reserves the right to reject any one and/or all proposals, to waive any formalities or irregularities, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the School District *The value for this project is based on a financial range. Remove all exis0ng components down to the exis0ng purlins. 2. Install new wire mesh neFng. 3. Install R-30 vinyl back insula0on over net wire. Tape seams of the insula0on. 4. Mechanically fasten new offset clips or bearing plates per manufacturers upli- requirements. 5. Mechanically fasten new two-inch (2") T lock standing seam metal panel roof system. 6. Remove and replace all valley metal, rake edge, ridge cap, eave metal, counterflashing, guKers, downspouts with new specified metal panels. 7. All guKers receive new downspouts. All roof areas associated with the project. 8. Remove and replace exis0ng wall panels with new specified metal wall panels. 9. All installa0on shall be per current IBC, IECC, ASCE 7, NRCA, SMACNA and Manufacturers Guidelines. 10. Provide a twenty-year NDL full system warranty. 11. Provide a two-year Contractors warranty. 12. This is considered a turnkey project, Judson ISD to furnish nothing Olympia Elementary School Gymnasium Only: 1. Remove all exis0ng components down to the exis0ng purlins. 2. Install new wire mesh neFng. 3. Install R-30 vinyl back insula0on over net wire. Tape seams of the insula0on. 4. Mechanically fasten new offset clips or bearing plates per manufacturers upli- requirements. 5. Mechanically fasten new two-inch T lock standing seam metal panel roof system. 6. AKachment shall be per current ASCE guidelines. 2. Adhere two layers of polyisocyanurate insula0on to equal R Value of 25 polyisocyanurate insula0on. 3. Adhere full taper system 1/8 inch per foot slope to ensure posi0ve slope to all drains and or guKers. 4. Adhere one layer of 1/2 inch gypsum cover board. 5. Torch apply one layer of 140 mil base sheet. As specified. 6. Torch apply one layer of 160 mil CRRC white acrylic granulated modified bitumen. As specified. 7. At areas of rise wall to roof, remove exis0ng thru wall flashing on all wall above roof line and install new thru wall flashing at all rise wall above roof line. Minimum height eight inches above finished roof line. 8. Raise all HVAC units, Exhaust Fans, Fresh Air Fan, Roof Hatch curbs and all vent stacks to minimum eight inches above finished roof line. 9. Raise all conduit and piping to minimum of eight inches above finished roof line and set on new pipe supports as specified. 10. All nailers to meet insula0on height and addi0onal fascia metal to cover the en0re system edge. 11. All installa0on shall be per current IBC, IECC, ASCE 7, NRCA, SPRI, SMACNA, Manufacturers guidelines and specifica0ons. 12. Provide a twenty-year NDL full system warranty. 13. Provide a two-year Contractors warranty. 14. This is considered a turnkey project, Judson ISD to furnish nothing. 15. Contractor to include con0ngency of $10,000.00 for this project.
