As of February 9,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project is located within the easements of Canal C of SIRWCD. The work of this project includes but is not limited to: the realignment of Canal C within SIRWCD easements. All communication concerning the project will be directed in writing through the Owners Representative. Under no circumstances should Bidders solicit information from other contractors bidding on the work. The Owners Representative is: Karen Brandon, P.E., AECOM, Karen.Brandon@aecom.com. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified bond check made payable to the Owner or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five percent of the total price indicated in the Bid Proposal Form. The Bid proposal will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of ninety days after submission. The successful Bidder, who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond pursuant to Section 255.05 F.S. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, with or without cause, to waive irregularities, variances, deviations, technical errors and informalities to the extent permitted by law or accept the Bid which in its judgement best serves the public interest. Bidders should anticipate that SIRWCD may negotiate some or all of the aspects of a Bid Proposal with one or more of the Bidders to obtain the lowest negotiated price and most responsive schedule.
