The amount programmed for this contract is $ 15,560,000. The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed pavement rehabilitation project is located in Maricopa on Phoenix - Cordes Junction Highway (I-17), Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) with the traffic interchange ramps within the project limits. The project begins at milepost (MP) 218.44 and end at MP 224.16 for an approximate length of 5.72 miles. The work consists of; milling one inch of the existing pavement on I-17 (NB & SB), repairing Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP), diamond grinding the surface of existing PCCP, and milling one inch of the existing pavement on ramps and the shoulders. In addition, the work includes; bridge repairs, pavement markings and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in the Construction Phase of the contract will be 315 calendar days.
