This project includes preconstruction services, and the option for construction services, for reconstruction of US-93 generally between Dublin Gulch Road/Red Horn Road and Olsen Road/Gunlock Road (RP 36.8 to 40.0) through a CM/GC contract. The project will reconstruct the roadway to current standards, add a northbound truck climbing lane north of Post Creek, construction of a 500-feet long bridge over Post Creek, shared use path and underpass, wildlife fencing, realignment of Ashley Creek Stream to its historic flow patterns, retaining walls, and miscellaneous wildlife accommodations. Note that the project design is approximately 30-percent complete. The project received a $30.5 million federal grant through CSKT to offset National Highway project construction funds. Working with CSKT, MDT will administer contractor solicitations, design development, and construction administration. The key stakeholders on the project include but are not limited to CSKT, MDT, FHWA, USFWS, FWP, USACE, DEQ, and Emergency Services. MDT has retained Morrison-Maierle, Inc. as the Design Consultant to develop the design and construction documents.
