Site work for a water / sewer project in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Proposal (RFP) for an AMI system under two separate methods: (1) a utility owned solutions or (2) an asset managed solution. Additionally, OMU desires to have a single point of responsibility for the AMI and any associated Meter Data Management system (MDM), if such system is required by the proposed solution. In this RFP, the terms "respondent(s)", "proposer", and "offeror" are used interchangeably, but all refer to an offeror under the provisions of Kentucky Revised Statute ("KRS") 45A.370. OMU reserves the right to conduct a pilot phase of the proposed solution with no obligation to move forward with a complete system buildout. The pilot phase shall be for a period of not less than three (3) months and no more than 6 (six) months. In the instance that OMU does not move forward with a complete system-wide build out, proposer agrees to accept all equipment, including but not limited to electric meters, water meters, radios, antennas, data collection units, head-end infrastructure, etc., at no cost to OMU, less any restocking fees. A schedule of key dates for this RFP is provided in Section III that follows. All RFP communications should be directed in writing, by email, and in accordance with the RFP schedule to the contact indicated in Section IV that follows.
