Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contractors who are interested in being prequalified should contact David Christopher @ HDR Engineering Inc directly to receive an application. The Work to be performed consists of approximately eleven (11) 4-inch through 12- inch ductile iron water main offsets, three (3) 4 inch through 12-inch ductile iron water main relocations, two (2) fire hydrant lead offsets and relocations, various sewer service line adjustments, and all other associated appurtenances. The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Charleston, South Carolina, is requesting interested Contractors to complete an Application for Prequalification of Bidders for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of the Calhoun Street Corridor Improvements Water and Wastewater Relocation Project located in the medical district of the City of Charleston, South Carolina. Please direct all questions to David Christopher, PE with HDR. Bids for this project will only be accepted from Contractors who have been prequalified for this project. The Owner will not accept bids from Contractors who fail to submit timely applications for prequalification or from Contractors who fail to prequalify. The project will be bid at a later date as a part of Charleston County's Calhoun Street Corridor Improvements Project. Bids are tentatively scheduled to be opened in Q1 2024.
