Madison County is seeking bids for a spare pump, at the Hazel Green Well, 730 Ready Section Road, Madison County, Alabama. The pump will be used for potable water. All materials, lubricants, and coatings shall be approved for use with drinking water. Fabricate new pump bowl assembly according to paragraph 2.1 and provide 80 feet of column piping and stuffing box according to paragraphs 2.2 and 2.3, respectively. Prepare and package material for long-term storage. The vendor will transport or ship to Mountain Fork Water Treatment Plant, 845 Mountain Fork Rd, New Market, AL 35761. The pump design conditions are 1400 gallons per minute at 276ft total dynamic head, at 1800 revolutions per minute. The pump shall be water cooled with above ground discharge. The installation report for the existing pump is included in the appendices.
