Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project consists of widening the Old Floyd Road bridge over Norfolk Southern Railway to the east, the addition of a dedicated right-turn lanes on westbound US78/Veterans Memorial Highway at Old Floyd Road and westbound Fontaine Road at Old Floyd Road. The project will also close Church Street at Front Street and Veterans Memorial Highway. All questions should be sent via email to ProcurementServices@cobbcounty.org. An interim completion time of 365 days from the Notice to Proceed has been established for completion of the bridge work. The time allowed for performance of the project will be 540 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Bid Bond shall be drawn in favour of the Board of Commissioners, Cobb County, Georgia, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive formalities. Any claims for cost incurred by any Bidder in preparation of any part of or total package for this project will not be considered for reimbursement by Cobb County.
