Scope of Work Contractor shall remove and place and maintain new decorative LED string lights and grapevine balls on City owned street trees in Cambridge MA. The work includes the removal and disposal of existing string lights. Existing power cords shall be removed and returned to the City. Removed lights will be disposed of off-site in a legal manner. Contractor shall safely remove existing lights preventing damage to the trees. Contractor shall then place new lights and grapevine balls on trees specified in the maps preventing any damage to the trees. Contractor shall supply the string lights, grapevine balls and extension cords and any equipment to install decorative tree lights safely and efficiently. Contractor shall inspect the lights once a month. Maintenance includes identifying and replacing malfunctioning lights, grapevine balls as well as correcting any issues relating to outlets and extension cords. Contractor shall notify the City of any repairs. Terms of Contract The Contract period is one (1) year beginning on or about December 10, 2023. The City reserves the right, in its discretion, to extend the life of the contract at any time.
