Roof Replacement Project, 101 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713 The following general description of the work is intended to be an aid to the prospective bidder and is not intended to comprise a complete description of all work required. The Work consists of roof and window replacement. As provided in the Ohio Revised Code, each bid shall contain the full name of each person and company interested therein and shall be accompanied by 1) a bid guaranty and contract bond in the full amount of the bid tendered or 2) a certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid tendered. Either of these shall serve as a guarantee that, if the award is made to the bidder, he will enter into a proper contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price upon execution of the contract. All such bonds, certified checks and cashier's checks shall be made payable to the Owner. No bid shall be considered unless made on the forms available at the office of the project Architect and in accordance with the Contract Documents which consist of all advertisements, instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings, bid form of contract agreement, bid and performance bond, schedule of wage rates, and all addenda thereto, all of which are available upon request. The Owner shall be reimbursed by the Contractor for the costs to the Owner due to delay in completion of his work by the scheduled Completion Dates for each work item listed in the schedule included in Section 00300 at the following rates: $500.00 per calendar day The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Irregularities and/or Informalities And to Reject Any or All Bids. The OWNER intends to accept the lowest and best bids (bidders) Per the Ohio Revised Code for the project, and reserves the right to reject any and all or parts of any and all bids.
