No contractor yet, bid opening scheduled for June 17, 2025. Construction to begin asap after bid. The Avard Regional Rail Park Authority is developing an industrial park located in the E1/2 of Section 23 T26N, R14WIM. The park is generally located approximately 6 miles south of the City of Alva on US Hwy 281. The park will consist of various sized tracts suited to serve light to heavy industrial users. The first phase of the development consists of the Construction of water supply, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection and sewage treatment systems serving the proposed industrial park. The water supply and fire protection demand of the facility is 300,000 gallons per day with a phase one sanitary sewer collection and treatment system demand of 800 equivalent population. The water supply portion of the project consists of the construction of multiple offset and/or newly located water wells and water well field transmission facility improvements in the City of Alva Well Field. The water distribution system project will consist of the interconnection into the the City of Alva water transmission facilities with the extension of mains along the east, south and north boundaries of the site. The sanitary sewer treatment system will potentially consist of a total retention facultative lagoon facility serving a population equivalent 800. The Sanitary sewer collection system will consist of gravity mains, a lift station and a force main. The Avard Regional Rail Park Authority is requesting engineering qualifications for a potential ARPA funded for a water supply, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection and sewage treatment systems project.
