The R.M. of Pleasant Valley No. 288, further known as the "the RM", will be proceeding with the crushing of 20,000 - 30,000 yards of 7/8" traffic gravel, crushed and stockpiled on SE 34-29-18 W3. Crushing can begin any time after March 15, 2024 but before September 30, 2024. The tender must include the following: Contractor Legal Name & Address Bid Amount for the Crushing of 20,000-30,000 yards of Gravel as specified Tender Unit Price shall NOT include GST Outline the equipment available to perform the work Submit Onsite Safety Plan Workers Compensation Board Letter of Good Standing Liability Insurance (minimum of 2,000,000 liability per incident) Three Business References Project Timeline (Start Date) The RM reserves the right to request additional crushing, up to a maximum of 5% of initial agreement amount, at the same bid price and conditions. This may occur before or during the crushing process. Any further requests will be presented as an amendment to the agreement and will be signed by both the RM and the Contractor. The awarded contractor shall not crush more than 5% of the tendered amount unless mutually agreed upon within an amendment. The RM of Pleasant Valley No. 288 reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, to waive defects in any bid or tender documents, to not necessarily award the lowest tender and to accept any tender which it may consider to be in the best interest of the municipality. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders received will be valid for (30) days from the date of the opening of the tender. The bid price will be full compensation of all incurred costs such as mobilization, supervisions, labour, road maintenance fees, permits, materials, equipment, tools and any other items necessary to execute agreement.
