The Division of Law Enforcement Standards and Training is soliciting responses from qualified consultants to provide basic professional architect design services as defined by the DFA/Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for new construction and remodel located at 6373 Hussey Road in East Camden, Calhoun County, Arkansas and 3424 South Downum Road Springdale, Benton County, Arkansas. Construction of a 30,000 square foot indoor facility at both Springdale and East Camden. The building will be approximately 20,000 square feet open training area, with the other 10,000 built into classrooms and office space. Construction of a firearms range covering in red iron roof only at both campuses. Remodel of dormitory area at the East Camden campus. Included will be approximately 30 rooms along with bathrooms to accommodate approximately 60 students. A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants and select finalist for interview in accordance with the MSC. The Agency reserves the right to award one or more contracts under this solicitation and to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments as appropriate for the contemplated work.
