Work consists of "Turnkey Replacement" of twenty-six (26) Bard HVAC units at Schumaker Modular Classroom Complex 910 S. Schumaker Drive Salisbury, MD 21804 . Turnkey replacement of twenty-six (26) existing Bard Wall HVAC units at the Schumaker Modular Classroom Complex. The exterior walls are painted T-11 siding. Some installations may require repairs or replacement of framing under or exterior siding under the unit. (Unit Price 1). BASE BID: 1. Remove and dispose of existing Bard unit. 2. Inspect opening to determine if repairs per Unit Price 1 are required. 3. WCPS Project Manager must approve application of Unit Price 1. 4. Furnish and install replacement Bard unit or approved equivalent. UNIT PRICE 1: Lump Sum Price for replacement of up to 6' wide x 8' tall frame, 1/2 " exterior T-11 plywood siding when damage is identified. Siding to be primed and painted to match existing as approved by the WCPS Project Manager. EQUIPMENT: 1. All units are 230/208 3 phase. 2. All existing units are Bard units. 3. All new equipment will utilize existing electrical service. 4. See Exhibits for details. LOCATION: 910 S. Schumaker Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804 EXHIBITS: 1. Exhibit 1 is a sketch of the Schumaker Modular Classroom Complex a. Identifies each unit by number. b. Identifies appended Bard model number per unit number. 2. Exhibit 2 is the Bard Submittal Data (17 pages) a. Similar information must be provided for evaluation for any proposed equivalent equipment. 3. Exhibit 3 is job site photos (11 pages). a. Photo is provided for each existing Bard Unit. b. Photo is provided for each side of building to observe surrounding conditions. c. Photo is provided for a typical interior wall. WCPS will be responsible for moving all personal items and furniture to allow access for performance of work. The bidder may submit all questions in writing via email to purchasing@wcboe.org.
