The Scope of Services includes, but is not limited to: General Planning Services, DataCollection,Design and Engineering for Bus Facility and Corridor Improvements, NewTechnologyProjects,andMultimodal Access to Transit Studies to support the Better Bus Project andtheBusNetworkRedesign. The MBTA plans to award up to four (4) or more contracts totaling $30,000,000, withapotential for varying values. Since this is a task order contract, independent cost estimateswill beprepared for appropriate tasks on an as-needed basis. The duration of the contract isthree(3)years from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with two (2) option periods of one(1) year each. Proposers are solely responsible for assuring that the MBTA receives their SOQsbythespecified delivery date and time at the address. In addition, the Authority stronglyencourages the use of Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprisesasprimeconsultants, sub-consultants, and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities. Responses to the Request for Qualification shall include one (1) digital copy, online of a current Standard Form (SF) 330 - Architect/Engineer QualificationQuestionnairefor all proposed team members, including all proposed sub-consultant firms. Inaddition, all firmsincluding sub-consultants must submit as part of the Statement of Qualifications, anAffirmativeAction Plan, Employee Profiles, and the most current Massachusetts UnifiedCertificationProgram (MassUCP) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) CertificationLetters. Only MassUCP-certified DBE firm participation will be attributedtotheDBEgoal for this project. It is the practice of the Authority to encourage the economic growth of professional firmsthroughbroad solicitation and award of contracts. All capable firms are invited to submit aStatement ofQualifications in accordance with the instructions presented in this solicitation. Following an initial evaluation of qualifications and performance data, firms consideredtobethemost highly qualified to provide the required services will be requested to submit proposalsandmay be invited to participate in oral interviews. Please note in order to be consideredfor anRFP,the proposer must pass the AA/EP/DBE Evaluation. This is not a Request for Proposal. The MBTA reserves the right to cancel this procurement ortoreject any or all Statements of Qualifications.
