Request for Qualifications and Request for Quote Proposals for Concrete Installation Habitat for Humanity of Madison County (HFHMC) is requesting Qualification Statements and Quote Proposals from sub-contractors interested in participating in the building of a new house at 2118 Pearl Street, an affordable housing project located in Anderson, IN. This project is financed in part through American Rescue Plan funds administered by the City of Anderson. The project will NOT be subject to Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage requirements. Contractors will be required to comply with a variety of federal and state regulations associated with the particular affordable housing funding sources, which will be included in the project specifications and Owner-sub-contractor contract. These will include, but are not be limited to, energy efficiency performance standards, requirement related to lead-based paint, and good faith efforts to hire and contract with Sect ion 3 eligible persons and businesses, Women-Owned and Minority-Owned Enterprise, and SAM.GOV requirements. It is anticipated the concrete will be installed as soon as quote is accepted. Sub-contractors interested in submitting qualifications for the above referenced project shall provide a complete application packet that includes the Contractor Qualification Form with supporting documentation as requested. All qualification statements and quotes shall be delivered no later in a sealed envelope no later than 2:00pm on September 23, 2024. This project will be using Habitat for Humanity of Madison County's Construction Sub-Contract and General Conditions. These documents are available upon request. Contractors will be evaluated based on their submittals and the top qualified contractor will be invited to enter into a contract with HFHMC for a negotiated price based on the scope of work described in attached drawings and specs.
