**As of January 17, 2024, project was awarded to JF ACQUISITION, LLC, awarded amount is $97,041.69.** The purpose of this request for quotes is to gather quotes to have two above ground storage tanks installed. One is at our Northern Area Convenience Center and one is at our Southern Area Convenience Center. Price shall be all inclusive of any permits and additional costs that may be needed. A. Southern Area Convenience Center, 6700 Landfill Drive, Chester, VA 23831 B. Northern Area Convenience Center, 3200 Warbro Road, Midlothian, VA 23112 A. Chesterfield County (OWNER) operates a fleet consisting of two road tractors and three rolloff trucks. Each vehicle operates on Ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) and has a fuel capacity of approximately 70 gallons. All vehicles are topped off daily with approximately 40 gallons per vehicle and the OWNER uses approximately 4,200 gallons of USLD monthly. The OWNER is currently using two 500-gallon USLD aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs) that will be replaced with the 1,000-gallon aboveground USLD ASTs. B. Provide all personnel, equipment, and materials to install two 1,000-gallon USLD ASTs and associated appurtenances as described herein. The CONTRACTOR shall provide a "turnkey" installation resulting in the full operation of the tanks and their ancillary equipment at the completion of the project. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for completing all work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The term "work" as used hereinafter shall mean the construction and services required by the contract documents and includes all other labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the CONTRACTOR'S obligations. All work shall be completed at the following two locations, which are owned and maintained by the OWNER: 1. Northern Area Convenience Center 3200 Warbro Road Midlothian, Virginia 23112 2. Southern Area Convenience Center 6700 Landfill Drive Chester, VA 28381 C. The following work will be completed at each location. 1. Northern Area Convenience Center (NACC) i. Complete inspections, as required, to confirm the adequacy of the existing concrete pad to support the replacement 1,000-gallon horizontal AST and associated equipment. ii. Install four (4) traffic bollards at the new concrete pad to protect the AST and pumping equipment in accordance with Section 312 of the Virginia Statewide Fire Page 2 of 9 Prevention Code. iii. Install 1,000-gallon horizontal AST and associated appurtenances. iv. Make electrical connections to the AST system from the existing electrical service. v. Deliver a fully operational AST system, as described herein. 2. Southern Area Convenience Center (SACC) i. Complete inspections, as required, to confirm the adequacy of the existing concrete pad to support the replacement 1,000-gallon horizontal AST and associated equipment. ii. Install eight (8) traffic bollards at the existing concrete pad to protect the AST and pumping equipment in accordance with Section 312 of the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code. iii. Install 1,000-gallon horizontal AST and associated appurtenances. iv. Make electrical connections to the AST systems from the existing electrical service. v. Deliver a fully operational AST system, as described herein.
