The primary purpose of this Contract is to rehabilitate the connections at the mainline using trenchless technology. On typical lateral configurations, the City is looking to cover a minimum of 2 feet into the lateral so that the first joint and mainline connection is covered. If the awarded Contractor is interested, the City is able to include in the Notice of Construction letter, the option to have the lateral liner extended. This additional work would be paid for by the Property Owner and coordinated directly between the Property Owner and the Contractor, if the Owner is interested. Est. Value: $ 249,000.00 Pre-Qualification: Yes All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents are to be directed to the City Engineer ,Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received proposal forms. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered
