The Parks and Open Space Department maintains a number of paved athletic court facilities across the town. Each year, our staff coordinate the replacement/resurfacing of multiple court locations. Court facilities may include any combination of tennis, pickleball, basketball and ball hockey. All of our court facilities are paved with asphalt - some are traditional hot-mix asphalt and others are penetration asphalt. The intent of this prequalification is to establish a list of contractors that can demonstrate high-quality completion of similar athletic court facilities within southern Ontario. The construction team will be comprised of qualified professionals and specialists with proven success in building athletic court facilities of similar size and complexity. The construction of athletic court facilities typically includes these primary elements: (a) Demolitions and removals (b) Fencing subcontractor (c) Lighting subcontractor (d) Excavation and grading (e) Asphalt paving (f) Line painting and/or surface coating subcontractor (g) General landscaping for restoration of work areas Documents can be obtained at: https://oakville.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Wed Nov 29, 2023 12:00:00 PM (EST) Duration in months: 6 *Construction budget 1.2 million.
