Bids are solicited for furnishing the goods, supplies, equipment and/or services as set forth in this solicitation. Electronic Bids can not be accepted after the specified date/ time. Sealed Bids received late will be returned; they will not be opened nor considered in the evaluation of the bid. The undersigned agrees, if the bid is accepted, to furnish any and all items upon which prices are offered, at the price(s) and upon the terms and conditions contained in the specifications. The period of acceptance of this bid will be 90 calendar days after the bid opening date. he San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for a vendor to provide provide maintenance to all makes and models of generator sets in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC), the Life Safety Code, and the National Fire Protection Association, and the Joint Commission. We highly recommend online submission. This expedites the process and reduces errors for both buyer and supplier. The San Antonio Water System Purchasing Department is willing to assist any bidder(s) in the interpretation of bid provisions or explanation of how bid forms are to be completed. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 11/16/2023 05:00:00 PM (ET) All bids submitted shall be valid for a period of not less than ninety (90) calendar days. ORIGINAL TERM OF CONTRACT (ANNUAL): The term of this contract shall be for one (1) year. Contract shall begin January 9, 2024 and shall terminate on December 31, 2024. RENEWALS: This Contract may be renewed for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions by mutual agreement of the parties. Renewals shall be in writing and signed by Director Purchasing or designee, without further action by the San Antonio Water System Board of Trustees, subject to and contingent upon appropriation of funding. TEMPORARY SHORT-TERM EXTENSIONS: SAWS shall also have the right to extend this contract under the same terms and conditions beyond the original term or any renewal thereof, on a month-to-month basis, not to exceed 6 months. Said month to month extensions shall be in writing, signed by Director Purchasing or designee, and shall not require Board approval, subject to and contingent upon appropriation of funding. REQUIREMENTS: All materials supplied under the resulting contract shall be new, unused, of recent manufacture, and suitable for their intended purpose.
