The project consists of: Installation of approximately 1,100 linear feet of new 6-inch raw water line, installed by open trenching and horizontal directional drilling. Installation of approximately 1,700 linear feet of new underground fiber optic communication line between the GR12 Well Pump Station and the City's Water Treatment Plant. Pump Station improvements including furnishing and installing one 25kW standby generator and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and one water meter register for the GR12 Well Pump Station. Installation of a new Remote I/O panel and modifications to existing controls at the GR12 Well Pump Station and modifications at the City's Water Treatment Plant of existing PLC/HMI system to incorporate the Pump Station Remote I/O system. Bids not fully completed in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders will not be considered A Bid Security executed in favor of the Owner in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the Bid is required. Per ORS 279C.385 (2), Bid Security is to be forfeited as fixed and liquidated damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a Contract and provide suitable insurance certificates, bonds, and other required documents for the faithful performance of the work in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract.
