This project includes the following independent base bids: Base Bid A: Interior renovations of science labs and other interior renovations including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes, and masonry tuckpointing at Glenbard North HS and Glenbard South HS Base Bid B: Exterior tuckpointing and parapet rebuild including brick replacement at Glenbard West HS. Base Bid C: Site excavation, regrading, site drainage, concrete site work, including reinforcing, retaining walls, and water proofing at Glenbard South High School Bidders are encouraged to visit the project sites below to examine existing conditions, as follows as follows: Glenbard South High School: 11/28/2023 at 3:00 PM - 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn, IL Glenbard North High School: 11/29/2023 at 3:00 PM - 990 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream, IL Unscheduled visits will not be permitted. If there is a need to schedule a visit outside of the scheduled times above, contact Wold Architects and Engineers to schedule an appointment. Please allow for a minimum of 24 hours notice Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Glenbard Township High School District 87 in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before July 26, 2024.
