Description

Renovation of a medical facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The subcontracting participation goals for County public procurements are: - to award 7% of the total dollar value of the contract to a certified MBE. - to award 5% of the total dollar value of the contract to a certified WBE. The workforce goals for County public procurements are as follows: - 7% of the total workforce should be minorities. - 5% of the total workforce should be women. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Removal of existing 1600A, 208/120VAC, 3-phase, 4-wire switchgear. 2. Addition of 800A service-entrance rated transfer switch and associated switchboard to replace existing switchgear. 3. Addition of 150kW, 208/120VAC natural gas generator. 4. Removal of (1) existing service currently serving one portion of the facility. 5. Removal and replacement of second electrical service currently serving one portion of the facility. 6. Coordination with local utility for electric and gas service (National Grid). Work Request Number has been obtained. Please reference WR #30850323. 7. Gas service alterations in order to accommodate generator installation. 8. Civil/Site work to accommodate generator installation.
