Renovation of a detention facility in Smith Crossing, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
This is the second phase (Phase Two) of a two-phase process: the second phase (Phase Two) invites qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. To replace aging and failing domestic water copper piping throughout the Atlantic Institution located in Renous, New Brunswick. In general, work under this contract consists of, but is not limited to the following: Replace existing domestic water copper piping NPS 3 and under with new PEX-A piping. Supply and install pipe insulation, jacketing, hangers, saddles, support, sleeves, fittings, firestopping systems. Re-use/re-install existing plumbing fixtures and accessories. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 135 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: between $5,000,001 to $20,000,000 (HST excluded).
