Renovation of a municipal facility in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is requesting Bid Solicitations for a Flooring and Flooring Replacement project, at the Sulphur Springs Texas Highway Patrol Office. See the attached Specification Sections, (Scope Of Work), Photos, Drawings and Specific Flooring Information. Project: Flooring Flooring Replacement; Installation of Carpet and L.V.T. Sulphur Springs Texas Highway Patrol Office 1528 East Shannon Road Sulphur Springs, 75482 Scope Of Work: 1. See Contract Drawings for complete understanding of demolition and construction scope. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of general project scope. The contractor for this project will be responsible for all other demolition as indicated on the project drawings. 2. In an orderly manner, to minimize disturbance inside the offices, and throughout the building; remove all carpet and cove base in designated offices, rooms and areas, as shown on the New Flooring Identification Plan, where new flooring is to be installed. 3. Remove and dispose of all existing flooring and base 4. Supply and install minor floor patch in areas of the Substrate where needed. 5. Remove and reinstall existing furniture as needed to perform the work. 6. Install all new Carpet in areas marked for Carpet. 7. Install all new L.V.T. in areas marked for L.V.T. ON TOP of the Existing Vinyl Composite Tile. (V.C.T.) (Do not remove the existing V.C.T.) 8. Supply and install new luxury vinyl tile, (LVT), by Mohawk Group / Hot & Heavy Secoya, Selection: #148 Atwell Mill, or #872, Picton Park, in the areas so noted, on the Sulphur Springs - New Flooring Identification Plan. 9. Supply and install new tile carpet: "#856 Sediment" (12"x36" tiles), by Mohawk Group Expedition Digital Terrain GT341 (Brick Ashlar installation pattern is required) 10. Supply and install new resilient transitions/reducers at change of flooring product throughout the work area. 11. Install all new Cove Base adjacent to new flooring. 12. Any door stop that is removed or damaged during installation must be replaced with equivalent. 13. Any door that does not have sufficient clearance must be removed from its hinges, taken'outof-doors', cut, to allow for proper operation of the door and reinstalled. 14. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the drawings and as required for complete project. 12/01/2023 5:00 P.M. CT Last day to submit written questions for clarification to DPS 12/04/2023 Estimated date for DPS to post Question and Answer (Q&A) document to ESBD DPS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the above date.
