Renovation of an educational facility in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of January 24, 2024 this project was awarded to: Ebersole Builders LLC $791,977. Hobbs & Company, Inc. $13,900. General Construction. $802,500.00 to $891,950.00 Electric Construction $12,300.00 to $13,800.00 Work included under this Project consists of exterior facade improvements to the house and detached garage located at Tanglewood, 100E. Rosedale Ave., West Chester PA 19383. In general, the work consists of removal and replacement of exterior windows and shutters, removal of lead-based paint, repair/remediation of unstable stucco, repair/replacement of unsuitable woodwork, painting of all woodwork, and refurbishment/replacement of exterior light fixtures. This includes the removal of lead-based paint. Tanglewood is the university's president's residence, and the house, garage and grounds will be occupied during construction. Liquidated Damages: $1,940.00 per week. Bid Security Required: Bid Bond only in the amount of 10% of Base Bid #1 Performance, Payment 100% of awarded Contract Price Maintenance Bond 10% of awarded Contract Price Work to be completed in 90 days. Work shall commence on site no later than February 8, 2024. Complete no later than May 1, 2024.
