NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for companies to provide art installation services the City of West Hollywood. The City of West Hollywood is seeking an art installation company or companies to install artworks around the City of West Hollywood. Most exhibitions are installed at the West Hollywood Library, which usually requires installations to take place before or after library hours (before 11am/after 7pm). Some installations may take place in other locations around West Hollywood. Companies will be expected to bring all their own necessary installation equipment, including but not limited to ladders, hammers, basic hanging hardware, paintbrushes, paint rollers, levels, etc. Most installations will consist mainly of hangable 2-dimensional artwork and informational panels. Installations may include the need to install or deinstall adhesive vinyl lettering and/or panels. Installer may need to patch holes and do spot painting or repainting of the wall. The City will provide paint, but the installer should provide any other equipment needed to paint. Some installations may require the need to transport artwork using a van within Southern California (Los Angeles County, Riverside County, Orange County, Ventura County, San Diego County).
