Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Holmdel, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
A. All work and materials shall be of the best quality and workmanship and to the satisfaction of the Monmouth County Park System and/or its Agents. The work shall be in strict accordance with the Drawings and Specifications, and the Contractor shall cooperate with the Park System and its Agents so that no error or discrepancy in the Drawings and/or Specifications shall cause defective materials or workmanship to be used. B. A general description of the work to be performed under this Contract shall include but will not be limited to the following construction operations: Clear land and construct gravel parking lot with asphalt aprons per NJDOT standards. The terms Construct, Provide, Install, etc. are used throughout the specifications and on the plan. The Contractor should understand that the Contractor is to provide all materials required for construction and installation for a full and complete job. Trail Access Parking Lot At Weltz Conservation Area The Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners shall have the right to reject any or all Bids; to reject a Bid not accompanied by a Bid Guarantee, Consent of Surety, or any of the other documents called for by the Bidding Documents; to reject a Bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular; to reject a Bid that does not contain original signed documents; and to waive any informalities contained in the Bids. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee payable to Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners. The Bid Guarantee shall be in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid as called out in the Bid Form or $20,000.00, whichever is the lesser amount. The Bid Guarantee shall be given by certified check, treasurer's check or bid bond at the Bidder's option.
